Martin and Kate 3rd August 2017

It is our hope, and the hope of many good people, to leave this world having made a positive, and if possible a lasting contribution.. and Bill's legacy is indeed one to aspire to. We came to know Bill through his friendship with our father Clem Saull - they became firm friends when they shared an office at Collingwood. They had remarkably similar backgrounds, each inspired at an early age to join the Navy, both trained as REA's and subsequently worked their way through the ranks to become officers. One of Bill's special qualities was his ability to find time to support many projects, including in his retirement the Radio museum at Collingwood. As time goes on the value of this legacy will be increasingly apparent. We would like to extend our sincerest condolences to all his family. It was a privilege to know him and his example is a light that will remain shining bright.
