All at the Mid Solent Youth League were deeply sadden to hear of Bill's passing, but we should all remember him for the foresight and dedication to the founding of the League.
He would have been so proud to know that just recently the word "prestigious" was added to the to the status of the League from folks who have the greatest respect for what we all set out to do.
Without his efforts almost fifty years ago, some 3500 children and 500 coaches would be at a loss as to what to do on a Saturday morning in the coming season.
In 2018 the League will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a dinner, which we hope we will be able to hold at HMS Collingwood. This event will now be dedicated to the life and memory of Bill.
